26 years of The Faculty of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University
In 2010 The Faculty of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, is celebrating its 26th anniversary. A collection of articles written by the lecturers and faculty members related to the University was published in a form a booklet on the occasion. Among the authors of the articles there can also be found two lecturers who on the daily basis teach at Poznan University of Medical Sciences: Edyta M±dry, M.D., PhD. , and Izabela Chudzicka-Strugała, M.D., Ph.D. Both the ladies presented their experiences as lecturers and visitors to Kaohsiung Medical University, when they lectured for the students of the English language program. They were both impressed by the high academic level of the program and the exceptional cooperation between students and teachers. They paid attention to the fact that the bond between the two groups was built not only during lectures and seminars but also in their spare time, when they met for afternoon meals or evenings in pubs. Both Dr M±dry and Dr Chudzicka-Strugała recall their visits to Taiwan as an unforgettable adventure and hope that they will have the opportunity to return their some day, as lecturers at Kaohsiung Medical University and visitors, to enjoy the very special place on earth.
